Why We Built This Site
Louisiana opens a good share of court and sheriff business to the public. The hard part is knowing which office holds the paper you want. In Beauregard Parish that work is split several ways. The 36th Judicial District Court sets the charge and the bond in district cases, and the Beauregard Parish Clerk of Court keeps the case index that goes with them. The Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office serves the orders and can say whether one is still open.
Lower-court files sit somewhere else again. The Justice of the Peace courts in Districts 1, 2, 4, and 5 Wards 7 and 8 keep the cases they set, and the DeRidder and Merryville mayor's courts keep their own city files. There is no single public lookup that covers all of it. Check one office, get a blank answer, and it is easy to stop too soon. We put the request steps and contact details for each office in one place, so a caller is not left guessing which door to knock on.
What You Will Find Here
The guides on this site cover the offices and records that come up most often. Each one names the office that holds the file and the steps to ask for it.
- Name checks: how to look up a warrant through the sheriff and the courts with a full legal name and a date of birth
- Open orders: how to read outstanding warrants and what an active status really tells a reader
- Missed court dates: how a bench warrant search works and which court holds the order
- Charge-based orders: how an arrest warrant search fits with the issuing court and the serving deputy
- Traffic and failure to appear: what a traffic warrant search turns up and why the ticket court matters
- City and JP files: how a municipal warrant stays with the mayor's court that wrote it
- Public lists: what the most wanted list covers and what it leaves out
What We Cannot Do
Beauregard Parish Warrant Records is a privately run reference site. We have no tie to any Louisiana court, sheriff's office, or state agency. That leaves real limits on what we can do:
- We cannot run an official check or confirm that a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot clear, recall, quash, or remove a warrant from any system
- We cannot post bond or take any payment toward a warrant
- We cannot set a court date, arrange a surrender, or walk anyone through a warrant
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a warrant applies to a particular person
- We cannot promise that every fee, phone number, or listing here is current today
The court that issued the order or the sheriff's office that holds it is the only place that can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point a reader to that office. The answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages here carry search boxes run by outside companies. Those providers set their own prices and run their own services. If a reader uses one of those tools and signs up for a paid product, we may earn a referral fee, and that money helps keep this site free to use. We do not control what those tools charge or what their results show. Their data is not an official warrant check.
